EDMUND and HUDSON, from MYKITA’s sports collection, enhance light protection. The designs adopt the expansive 1950s-style frame: wide temples and a wide bridge avert the sun’s rays from above and the sides, while the snug-fitting browline and nose-chip similarly keep incoming light to a minimum. Bold frame colours combined with mirrored lenses deliver protection and excellent vision. |

Key Buyers are Here! Hear What Buyers Say |

“5LUX.com is the Chinese mainland’s first e-tailer specialising in the sales of luxury goods. We are now selling nearly 300 top-end international brands online and our products include eyewear, watches and jewellery. We have been up and running for six years with a very big turnover. This is my first visit to the Hong Kong fair. I am looking for international eyewear brands especially brands that have not yet established their presence on the mainland. So far, I’ve identified more than 10 brands from Italy, Germany and USA with potential for cooperation. I’ve also found two to three Chinese mainland manufacturers here for possible collaboration to produce eyewear products according to our design requirements. This is a really good fair with an international appeal. There are many different brands from all over the world and I’m particularly thrilled to find the eyewear products of some famous brands that are known mainly for their fashion collections. It would be impossible for me to get to know their eyewear collections if I did not attend this fair.”
Doufei Sun, COO, 5LUX.com, Chinese Mainland

“Optical Pouya is a wholesaler of eyewear products in Iran. We usually source our products directly from suppliers in the Chinese mainland. This is my first visit to the Hong Kong fair and I found it very interesting. There is a good mix of exhibitors and products on display. In the first day of exhibition, I’ve already found four potential suppliers from the Chinese mainland for sunglasses and reading glasses. I will place initial orders for a total of 10,000 pieces from them. There is so much to see here and I expect to establish contacts with more exhibitors before the fair comes to a close. Hong Kong is a great place to do business. Everything has been perfect here and the fair is much better than other similar trade shows I attended previously. I will definitely come again.”

Hear What Exhibitors Say |
Hong Kong Optical Fair is a must-attend event for our promotion every year. We have been exhibiting here for many years and it offers a strategic platform for us to enhance our international presence and raise company profile. In business for over 50 years, Chu Kong produces a wide range of eyewear collections with major customers coming from Europe, USA and Japan. We are promoting our new vintage collection at the fair this year and have attracted strong responses from different buyers. These potential customers are coming from various markets including the Chinese mainland, the Philippines, Malaysia and Europe. This marks the first step for future business cooperation. It sometimes takes more time to build relationships and mutual trust so this fair offers a valuable opportunity for continuous dialogue and exchanges with these customers every year. We are very impressed by the fair’s organisation and professional services."
Emily Tai, Manager, Chu Kong Optical Manufactory Ltd, Hong Kong |
“TonySame is capitalising on this fair’s international appeal to promote the newest eyewear series to customers worldwide. Special highlights include our new fluorescent collection with an enhanced hinge elasticity and High Light prescription series with a mix and match of different materials. We’ve received a lot of enquiries from many overseas buyers including some new contacts from Japan, the Chinese mainland and Italy. We will provide price quotations according to their requirements and hopefully the talks will bear fruit soon. We’ve established good relationships with clients and many buyers have confidence in our business. TonySame is a fast-growing Hong Kong eyewear brand and we are actively expanding our product lines to meet younger customers’ preferences. This fair is a perfect place to enhance our exposure in Asia, allowing us to network with existing customers and find new buyers.”
