As it celebrates its 18th year, the optical fair is welcoming a record number of exhibitors. More than 580 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, including group pavilions from the Chinese mainland, Germany, the Hong Kong Optical Manufacturers Association, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan, have joined this year’s fair, bringing the latest frames for prescription spectacles and sunglasses, contact lenses, specialist eyewear for sports, safety and other sectors, as well as components, accessories and industry-related equipment.

The quality and creativity of over 90 brands from 19 countries and regions are showcased at the perfect and elegant setting of the Brand Name Gallery. Among them are renowned brands such as Columbia, Converse, Daniel Hechter, Etnia Barcelona, Hello Kitty, John Varvatos, Le Tanneur, Lucky Brands, New York Yankees, Ted Lapidus, Xenith, and Yanagi Gawa Ichiro. The 8th Hong Kong Optometric Conference, to be held on 4 November, is also a big draw for the fair, and bring together experts from around the world to present the latest research on "silver" eyecare.
