Hear What Buyers Say
"We are the biggest optical chain in the Czech Republic, with 90 stores, plus 50 shops in Slovakia. I am here to look for eyewear accessories, such as cases, cleaning clothes, chains and so on, and I have found many interesting things already. This fair is good for our company because it is huge and you can find everything in one place. Also, many of the suppliers are from East Asia, and their prices and service is good. The organisation of the fair is good; itˇ¦s very clearly laid out and I can find everything I want."
Olga Lisakova, Business Assistant, FOKUS Optik A.S., Czech Republic

"I come to this fair almost every year to find suppliers of machinery and measurement equipment for our ophthalmic lens production facilities in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. I like this show because it is a complete fair where one can meet all kinds of optical industry people and get almost everything for the optical industry. It is efficient and well organised compared to other shows."
Gan Song Chun, Area Manager - North Asia, Polycore Optical Pte Ltd., Singapore

Hear What Exhibitors Say
"We are a three-year old company producing optical cases, frames and contact lens solution. Our market is mainly in India, along with neighbouring countries such as Sri Lanka and Pakistan, as well as South and East Africa. We are now looking for buyers from the US and Europe, as well as the Gulf states, which is why we are attending this fair for the first time ˇV in fact, we are the first Indian company to do so. Already we have me with good buyers from Saudi Arabia and a buyer from the US who is interested in the eco-friendly products that we can supply. Facilities are very good at the fair, and the organiser has been very co-operative. I think this is the best fair in the world for this industry."
Falak Thakkar, Partner, Modest Optics, India

ˇ§We are attending this show for the 11th time, and this year we brought along 16 companies representing 40-50 brands. Hong Kong is a platform in Asia, with links to many countries in the region as well as being the gateway to the Chinese mainland, and this is why we join this important fair. Our main purpose here is to promote our OEM business. Our companies make products for many famous brands, not just Japanese but internationally. We want to make use of this opportunity to tell mainland buyers in particular, but also other Asian buyers, about our brands and our quality and technology.ˇ¨
Kiichi Sakano, Director, Fukui Optical Association & Fukui Optical Industrial Association, Japan
